In Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), the skills and strategies taught emphasize a balanced approach of acceptance and change. Our role is to assist you in addressing life-threatening behaviors, encompassing all forms of suicidal and non-suicidal actions, self-injury, suicidal ideation, and behaviors intended to cause bodily harm. We will provide coaching on utilizing skills to effectively navigate challenging situations, thereby reducing depression and managing anxiety.

As a DBT therapist, the objective is to help you realize your true potential and lead a life worth celebrating. While we cannot alter past difficulties, together, we can explore and resolve present challenges. Through the application of DBT therapy skills and strategies, we will identify entrenched behavior patterns or negative perceptions hindering your journey to a more enriching and meaningful existence.

Additionally, with the assistance of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), the aim will be to equip individuals with coping mechanisms to manage traumatic experiences and alleviate physiological arousal associated with traumatic memories.
