The process of change takes place in the context of authenticity, trust, mutuality and acceptance . All the skills and strategies taught in DBT are balanced in terms of acceptance and change. I can help you to target life threatening behaviors : all forms of suicidal and non-suicidal, self injury, suicidal ideation, other behaviors engaged in for the purpose of causing bodily harm. I will coach you how to use skills to effectively cope with difficult situations that arise in your everyday lives and reduce depression and manage anxiety.

As a  DBT therapist my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying DBT therapy  skills and strategies  we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.  

As an EMDR therapist my goal to give a person tools to  cope  with traumatic experience ,   to reduce   physiological arousal  associated with  traumatic memories.
